I strive for strong, clear images.
Most of my paintings (oil on canvas) and drawings (ink or pastel) are based on a sociological, political of psychological subject.
My intention is to create a timeline of milestones in worldhistory, as far as I can observe it. Examples of such a painted historic document are Zeus and Europe, in which I depict the ongoing crises in nowadays Europe and the portrait of Charles Taylor, the first living ex-gouvernment leader who was convicted by an international court of law for crimes against humanity.
